Come July 2021, the campfires will be glowing and the river tranquil, as we welcome you to the friendly rural town of Renmark, right on the Murray River in SA's sunny Riverland.
The Riverland Camp Oven Festival is a two day event celebrating the authentic Aussie tradition of camp oven cooking.
Cook Off categories are: Best Damper, Best Mains and Best Dessert.
The prize pool is sitting at $1600 in total value. Entry fee $10 per category.
The 2021 program includes:
Day 1: A Low 'N' Slow cooking demonstration by All Fired Up Barbeque where all of our guests can watch and learn insider tips to cooking on the grill. Before purchasing and indulging in the dishes cooked and heading to a free Camp Oven Cooking Workshop for beginners.
Day 2: A Woolshed Brewery pop-up bar and DJ that all of our guests can enjoy and purchase drinks from throughout the three course Camp Oven Cook Off where the Best Damper, Main and Dessert entrants will share in a prize pool worth $1600.
