• Feeling the heat? Why not catch a movie in air-conditioned comfort at the Chaffey Theatre. Wicked (PG) will be showing at 7pm on Friday and Saturday night. The plot follows Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman because of her green skin, and Galinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. After an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads. Looking for something different? Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will be showing on Friday at 10am and 2pm, or Saturday at 2pm. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before. With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance.
