A History Festival talk event presented by the Renmark Irrigation Trust.
Do you remember jumping into Renmark’s channels as a child? Renmark Irrigation Trust was the first irrigation trust to convert its channel network to a closed pipe system. Although there were no more channels for swimming, there was a remarkable 33% drop in water use which far exceeded expectations. Come and hear a panel recall how the scheme changed their lives.
