Wilkadene Cottage is a fully self-contained hideaway, situated on 3 acres of lush gardens on the bank of the River Murray and only a two minute walk from the famous Wilkadene Brewery.
Description
Wilkadene is listed on the National Trust and also houses the original pioneer cottage built on the property in 1859. Its rich history can be self explored, including the old cottage, shearing shed and it’s connection with the paddle steamers which were vital to early life here.
Wilkadene Cottage offers 3 comfortable queen bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, cosy living area with TV & DVD, laundry facilities, a slow combustion wood fire and air conditioning plus a relaxing outdoor space with BBQ, dining and a sun lounge. There is also a tennis court for the more active visitors and the water skiing is magnificent on this more remote area of the river.
The cottage is surrounded by a myriad of flora and fauna, yet only 15km from Renmark. A 2-man kayak is available to explore the surrounding creeks and waterways, binoculars and books for bird watching and a boat ramp close by. Additional kayaks can be arranged, as well as fishing gear and dinghy hire subject to availability & holding a boat licence.
Wilkadene is pet friendly, though some conditions apply.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations notified more than 30 days prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations notified within 30 days will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
All cancellation fees will be held in credit for 12 months for use on mutually agreed dates subject to availability.
