To view the river from above, the Headings Cliff Lookout provides panoramic views of the river and surrounding golden limestone cliffs. For a different perspective, the Renmark Rotary Lookout Tower offers a bird's-eye view of the township and primary production surroundings.

The quirky houseboat 'Willitsinkorwontit', built by local larrikin, Frank Turton, is moored near the Renmark Paringa Community Museum but at times is brought into the main Renmark Riverfront for locals and visitors to enjoy. The Murray River Flood Marker can also be found on the riverfront and stands as a silent witness to the area's resilience against past floods, most recently in 2022.

Each evening at dusk, the Possum Parade captivates visitors as friendly possums descend the palm trees along the riverfront to enjoy treats left by onlookers.
