Bulyong Island is situated upstream from Renmark and is accessible only via boat!

Description

Bulyong Island, a section of the Murray River National Park, is unique as it can only be accessed by water!

The island is bordered by the Murray River and Ral Ral Creek, an anabranch of the Murray and offers some of the best canoeing experiences in the Riverland region. if you are planning a trip, detailed, waterproof canoe maps of this area can be purchased from the Renmark Paringa Visitor Centre.

Bulyong Island is also a favourite place for anglers, small boat users and houseboats with the island forming part of the River Murray flood plain and includes several significant areas of waterfowl habitat.

Dogs are not permitted.
