This has resulted in restrictions applying to the movement of at-risk fruit and vegetables within our region. Moored on the majestic Renmark Riverfront, the Paddle Steamer Industry provides a reminder of bygone times on the Murray River!
Take the opportunity to experience an authentic paddle steamer with a scenic 60-minute cruise onboard the historic vessel ...... Hear the unique sounds as the paddle wheels hit the water, the hiss of steam, the whistle from the wheelhouse and see the wood fire boiler being stoked.
Once onboard, you will learn more about the vessel and its history with an informative commentary from the Captain, be able to chat with the passionate volunteers that operate and maintain the vessel and view a range of history with souvenirs available for purchase.
The Industry steams at regular intervals throughout the year, including selected long weekends.
