FRUIT FLY OUTBREAK - Renmark and the greater Riverland area currently have a number of fruit fly outbreaks. This has resulted in restrictions applying to the movement of at-risk fruit and vegetables within our region. Come along to the Renmark Lions Club Fundraising Bazaar and grab yourself a bargain (and maybe a hot donut!).
Each month between February and November the Renmark Lions Club hold a Fundraising Bazaar in the W. E. Wood Hall, (adjacent to the Old Renmark Show Society Office) at the Renmark No.2 Oval, Marrara St, Renmark.
The usual goods for sale each month include furniture, beds, tables/chairs, electrical goods, whitegoods, crockery/cutlery, books, tools, bric-a-brac, household items, etc. and much more. A barbecue/sausage sizzle and bacon and egg sandwiches, donuts, tea/coffee and cans of soft drink are also available during each sale. EFTPOS facilities available.
Monies raised at this and other Lions fundraising events are used for community projects undertaken and/or supported by the Renmark Lions Club and other Lions Australia/Lions International projects.
